Olympics in Stocksbridge!

The Olympics has got off to an early start in Stocksbridge. Our current whole school theme is all about the forthcoming 2012 Olympics in London this summer.

On Monday 14th May children from our Y1 and Year 2 classes spent the day playing lots of games and learning new P.E skills.  Look at us run....look at us roll......look at us throw and jump! On Tuesday morning our Reception children learned how to use balance bikes, develop simple map reading skills to find 'treasure' and play lots of team games. All the children in school had a fantasic time and learned lots of new skills.
