Nursery Admission

At present there are 2 points of entry for children into nursery; these are September and January. Children can start the term after their third birthday subject to availability of places. We do operate a waiting list so it is best to register your child with us early to avoid disappointment.

Children are entitled to 15 hours nursery education which is funded. We currently offer these 15 hours either as 5 morning sessions, 5 afternoon sessions or 2 and ½ days.

We aim to make starting nursery as comfortable as possible for both children and parents. During the term prior to your child starting nursery you will be invited to an induction meeting, for a short presentation and to collect your child’s welcome pack. We also offer you and your child a short nursery visit alongside other children during this term.

Home visits take place during the first week of term, so that your child can get to know their key person within the security of their own familiar surroundings. The start dates for children are then staggered throughout the next 3 weeks, so we can best support your child during their first few sessions.

You are welcome to visit nursery before you decide to register your child. Please telephone to arrange an appointment.

Admission forms can be collected from school or alternatively if you would like to download an admissions form to print out please click on the link below. There is also an Admissions Information Sheet.
